A few days ago the State Attorney General's Office released its "Public Investment Impact Disclosure" (PIID) that will appear on the November general election ballot under Initiative IP26-645, which REPEALS the shady Ferguson-Pedersen state income tax scheme.
This PIID is a boldfaced LIE. The Initiative does NOT "reduce funding for public K-12 education, higher education and human services." Again, the PIID is a LIE.
The Ferguson-Pedersen state income tax scheme doesn't take full effect until 2029. When the people repeal the income tax this November, there will be no reduction in funding for "public K-12 education, higher education" or anything else.

IP26-645 is an initiative that aims to prohibit individual income taxes in Washington State. Vote YES to REPEAL the shady Ferguson-Pedersen state income tax scheme.
